Enjoy    Believe    Achieve

Jesus said 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength.'

This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbour as yourself.' Matthew 22:37 - 39

Jesus told us that love is what God calls us to do. When we love God we should also love our neighbour as ourselves, because God loves us and our neighbour. Everyone including ourselves is a precious child of God, so in our school everyone is treated with respect and we want the best for each other. We believe that each person in the world is our neighbour and should be loved and treated with respect and helped to live the best life they can. God’s love calls us to live for justice, kindness and respect for everyone.

                        Enjoy

We belong to a school that children and staff feel proud to be part of; where there is mutual support amongst families and the wider community, and where everyone feels valued.

  • All that God has given us

  • Enjoy school

  • Enjoy life and become lifelong learners

  • Enjoy belonging to our community

  • Enjoy being with our families

                          Believe

We believe that God’s love is central to all that we do; that with His love, we grow in faith. We love and respect one another and we take care of the world in which we live.

  • In God's love as shown in Jesus

  • Believe in ourselves

  • Believe in the people we work with and learn from

  • Believe in our school community

  • Believe in each other

                          Achieve

We learn together in an inspiring and secure environment, where our children’s unique skills and abilities are recognised and nurtured, preparing them for life’s challenges and opportunities.

  • Through Christian faith and school values

  • Achieve using our gifts and talents

  • Achieve our true potential

This distinctive vision is rooted in the Bible verse, Matthew 22:37-39

At Winmarleigh Church of England Primary School, we open the door to faith. Our Christian faith is valued by children, staff and our community. We invite children to come through the door and join with worship: some are really keen, others are able to just watch, observe and learn and ready to make their decisions about faith later in life.
